Kid Free Shopping Spree

It's been awhile since my last post...I've been busy organizing my son's 5th birthday party.  He wants a 'Hot Wheels' party with everything from monster trucks to motorcycles.  I'm calling it a "Wheelie Extravaganza".  I think I've got everything I need to keep the kids entertained for a couple of hours now if the weatherman could just guarantee some sunshine.   please be sunny..please be sunny..please be sunny - this Sunday a bit before two would y'all mind doing a little sundance for me?

Now to the title of this post...I had to pick up a few things from Ikea today so after Cam's preschool we headed out there just in time for lunch.  Then it was off to the playroom where you can drop your kids off for an hour for free!!!  Today was ZoĆ«'s first time going to the playroom.  A child has to be of a certain height and must be potty trained so today was her day.  The kids had a great time and I was able to do my shopping in peace.  I had everything I needed and then some in half an hour.  By the time I paid I even had 10 minutes to spare!  When I came home and showed J.T. all the purchases and how fabulous they looked he asked me what the bill came to.  His comment, "That has to be the world's most expensive childcare!".

Coming next week:  How you too can host your very own 'Wheelie Extravaganza'

In the meantime, here was one thing I had to have today from Ikea, the LISBET tablecloth:

I'm a sucker for stripes and, looking at my table linen drawer, a sucker for cute tablecloths - especially ones that have lime green.
